Sandy Wadlington has a BS in Fine Arts from Massachusetts Collage of Art. She also attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She has been in numerous shows and her work is in collections throughout New England.

"What I like most about working in New England is the variety of subject matter. I do landscapes mostly, which is to say I draw mountains, trees, farms, woods, fields, rivers, marshes and the Atlantic ocean. My favorite season in winter, not necessarily because I love the cold, but because the winter provides the best opportunity for seeing color, light and composition. I work in pastel, charcoal, oil and color wood block print. My first choice is pastel, because it is immediate and spontaneous."
