Paul Trowbridge
Trowbridge’s recent work is bold and stark, a study of waterfront workmen, the work ethic and the “can do” attitude. The sea influences his work and those around him with beauty as well as foul weather; it provides the base resource of our area which is hard to ignore.
Trowbridge has a BA in the arts from Principia College, studied at the Boston Museum School and the University of Maine, and holds a Masters in Fine Art from the University of Memphis. He has worked in animation with Noel Stookey in Blue Hill, taught watercolor at Woodenboat School, shown works at many venues on the Blue Hill Peninsula and beyond. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Sedgwick.
